MidWeek is a place for the family of families to find authentic community. We call this "Ekklesia" - a Greek word used in the New Testament to refer to "the called out assembly (the church) being the church." MidWeek is a "hump day" for believers to be "The Ekklesia" - to spiritually and emotionally refresh, recharge and share in life together. It's designed for the spiritual health and fitness of those who desire to be conformed to His image and nourished in His Body.
One of the paths that we use to EQUIP The Ekklesia here at Crossroads is through elective tracks that we call Crossroads University (CU).
These tracks are divided into six bands that will be offered throughout the year: Essential Theology, Practical Theology, Biblical History, Church History, Christian Living, and Electives. The goal is to deliver tracks that enrich and strengthen the church body.
Most CU tracks will be offered in more of a classroom/roundtable structure on the church campus on Wednesdays at 6:30pm and run for 6-week sessions, with a start and end date.
Every 7 weeks, between Crossroads University blocks, we take a Wednesday evening for "the church to be the church." This is a time when we take care of "family business" - engage, equip, empower, and encourage our church body around the mission, vision, strategy, and values that make us Crossroads Church - primarily being a missional, house of prayer. If you're part of the church family, this is a gathering that includes you.
Early Childhood Center (birth to 5 years) and Kidz WorshipMakers (ages 6 to 12) is provided during MidWeek.
