Session 8: Oneness
Jesus prayed that His people would be one — the same way He and the Father are one.
Oneness is the third of our core values, and it's the one that holds everything else together. This session covers what unity actually means at Crossroads — not sameness, but a shared commitment to the truths that guard the Gospel.
We'll walk through the five solas — Scripture Alone, Christ Alone, Faith Alone, Grace Alone, and God's Glory Alone — the core convictions that have anchored the church since the Reformation. From there, we'll get practical about two things every Covenant Partner commits to: Baptism, as a public declaration of faith, and Communion, which we practice weekly as a way of remembering what Jesus did and staying united as a body.
This session covers a lot of ground, but the through-line is simple: oneness isn't something we manufacture. It's something we protect.
