Session 9: Gifts
You have a part to play. Not a metaphorical part — an actual one.
Belonging, Generosity, Oneness — those three values only work if every person in the church actually does something. This session is about that "something": your spiritual gifts. We'll cover where they come from (the Holy Spirit, not natural talent or personality), who they're for (God's glory and the church's benefit, not your own), and why every gift matters, no matter how small it might seem.
We'll walk through the different gifts Scripture names — teaching, mercy, leadership, encouragement, and more — not so you can find a label and stop there, but so you can start recognizing how God's already wired you to serve. And we'll answer the question everyone eventually asks: what if I get asked to do something I don't think I'm gifted at? Short answer — do it anyway. You don't need to feel gifted to be faithful.
This session is where "belonging to the church" turns into "building the church."
