Session 7: Generosity
Jesus is a Giver. His people should be too.
Generosity is the second of our three core values, and this session gets practical: why we give, what we give, and what happens in our hearts when we do. We'll look at giving as an act of worship — not something we do to earn God's favor, but something we do because of what He's already given us.
We'll cover the different ways generosity shows up — money, time, and talent — and why none of them can substitute for the others. Giving your time doesn't replace giving financially, and giving financially doesn't replace showing up and serving. We'll also talk about the heart behind it: God isn't after a specific dollar amount or a rigid formula, He's after cheerful, willing generosity.
This session isn't about guilt or obligation. It's about understanding that when your heart belongs to Jesus, generosity stops being a sacrifice and starts being who you are.
