Plan Your Visit

Come As You Are

First time?  We can’t wait to meet you.

You don’t need to have it all together to come. Just come ready to seek, grow, and belong. You’ll find a warm group of real people dedicated to the journey of being WITH Jesus, being LIKE Jesus, and DOING what Jesus did.

We treat everyone like family, so wear what makes you feel comfortable. Like most other public venues today, you’ll find a diverse array of casual to business casual. Our Teaching Pastor shows up one week in a sport coat, dress shirt, and slacks and the next week in jeans and a pullover, just to keep it real. We’re more concerned with meeting your real life needs than with what you wear.

The Worship Gatherings @ C2 start at 9am AND 11am on Sunday mornings, but you’ll want to arrive a little early to get acclimated. The Link will give you a little peek inside C2 and answer some of the questions that might be on your mind after you’ve walked in the door. While you wait for the service to start, grab a cup of coffee, find a seat, and make yourself at home!

Easy Access off I-70 in Grain valley

Known as “The Church on the Hill”, Crossroads is visible from I-70 and conveniently located on the North Outer Road between the Adam’s Dairy Parkway and Grain Valley Exits.

What to Expect

We’ve found that most Guests like to blend in and not use “Guest Parking” so park where you’d like…but our regulars will often leave the front spaces for guests, young mothers, and our seniors. We want our guests to feel comfortable and welcome the moment they arrive. Our Guest Relations staff will:

  • Meet you with an umbrella in the rain
  • Greet you with a warm welcome
  • Help you get access to “The Link“, a digital “guest guide” full of helpful information
  • Show you to the Welcome Center, Coffee Bar, point out the restrooms, and
  • Help you secure a seat so you aren’t stressed trying to find an open space.

Grab a steaming cup of complimentary coffee from one of our local roasters,  The Roasterie or Eleos Coffee House. We have an assortment of flavored syrups, creamer, and sweeteners – help yourself.  Feel free to take your coffee to your seat with you to enjoy during the Worship Gathering.  We offer hot tea and cocoa for non-coffee drinkers. There is also a refreshment cooler filled with a variety of sodas, juices, and cappuccino.

If you have children, our Guest Services staff at the Kidz Check-In Station will help you securely check-in your child into one of the following classrooms:

  • 1’s to 3’s – both services
  • 4’s & 5’s – both services
  • 6 to 10’s – only 11AM service
  • 11’s & 12’s – only 11AM service

Once checked-in, your 4-year-olds and up will go into the Worship Center with you and will participate in the first few songs of the service before they’re dismissed to the back of the Worship Center to meet teachers. They’ll then stay in their Kidz’ environment until you check them out, after the Worship Service. Click Here to learn more about our philosophy about Student Ministry.

If you have students 13+, they attend the Worship Experience with you. The Crossroads Student Ministry (CSM) meets on Sunday evenings and your adolescents are more than welcome to attend.  Find more information about CSM by clicking here.

It has been our experience that most young parents with children under 12 months of age prefer to keep their babies in the service with them. We fully support that — so we do not offer a staffed nursery. We do, however, offer a self-serve Infant Care Room for parents who need a quiet, safe, and comfortable place to feed, change, or calm their infants or toddlers during service. The room includes changing stations, rocking chairs, and a live feed of the service so you don’t miss out while tending to your child.

We have a rule here at C2: no one is ever singled out or embarrassed. So don’t worry, you’ll blend right in. We even reserve the back row for first-time guests to ensure there’s always an open seat and for those who are more comfortable sitting there.

Take a few moments to check out the “The Link” using the QR Code on the back of the seat in front of you and fill out the First Time Guest Connection Card.  It’s our way of getting to know you better. You can complete as much information as you feel comfortable with and drop it in an Offering Bucket, blue buckets located at the front and back of the Worship Center.

Enjoy the gathering of the body here @ C2. We hope it will become the best hour of your week. You’ll discover great music done by our Worship Team. Don’t be surprised if the music isn’t what you’ve come to expect at church; we think music is meant to be enjoyed. Singing a song in front of God ought to be fun – for Him and for us!  Our Teaching Pastors will lead you through practical, timeless truths with humor and sincerity, using video clips, drama, and other forms of interactive communication.

At Crossroads, we observe and celebrate the Lord’s Supper weekly in our 9:00am and 11:00am Worship Gatherings.

Okay, you’ve received a gift, enjoyed some music, heard a practical message and then….Yup there it is….the Offering Bucket. But don’t worry, here at C2 we have another rule – the offering is for those who call C2 home. If you’re a guest, sit on that wallet. This service is our gift to you.

After the Sunday Morning Gathering @ C2, stick around and meet our Elders and other friendly members. We hope that your first visit to C2 will be authentic and warm. Feel free to ask any questions about C2 or grab whatever relevant information you see in The Commons as you are leaving your experience with us.
