Our Core Values

“Core Values are the filters through which we do ministry and make decisions.”

  • We Value Jesus

“We believe Jesus matters to our daily lives. He is God incarnate - God in the flesh. Our existence as people of God is because of Him - in Him, through Him, by Him, for Him, and with Him.”

Am I following Jesus daily as my Savior, Redeemer and King?

  • We Value People

“People matter to God; therefore, they ought to matter to us as well.”

Am I obediently investing in and inviting others to experience my faith in Jesus?

  • We Value God's Written Word

“We Believe God has spoken to us through the Scriptures. Therefore, the Bible is our ULTIMATE AUTHORITY. Reading, studying, memorizing, teaching and applying Scripture is for Life-Change”

Are my priorities consistent with Scripture?

  • We Value Oneness

“We celebrate diversity of personality, gifting, experiences, style and culture. We believe God uses diversity to strengthen our unity as a body of Christ, focusing on the things that unite us, not the things that divide us. Just like a marriage. However, it is thru oneness of mission, vision, strategy and values that we impact our world for Jesus.”

Am I speaking positively about my church at every opportunity?

  • We Value Spiritual Fitness

“Healthy Things Grow. We believe God desires an intimate, growing relationship with every believer. Through prayer, meditation, worship, and Bible study, we can pursue and achieve intimacy with the Father.”

Am I growing in my relationship with God and others?

  • We Value Authentic Community

“We believe accountability, care, and a sense of belonging are critical to balance and progress in our spiritual journey. These three things are best achieved within the context of a small group of like-minded, relationally-connected believers.”

Am I in a Missional Community, relationally connecting with other believers?

  • We Value Intentional Discipleship

“We believe that all believers have the responsibility of carrying out the great commission in their sphere of influence, relationally. We have a responsibility to pass along to others the knowledge, skills, and opportunities that have been entrusted to us”

Am I guiding someone toward Jesus, thru His Spirit and to His Word so that they might do the same for others?

  • We Value Radical Generosity

“We believe that as a people of hope and a place of promise we are called to radical generosity in every aspect of our lives. At the heart of generosity is trust in God. We give of ourselves in faith, we make room for other people in our lives and we expand our influence in ways that God calls us to do on His behalf – for the sake of other people knowing Jesus.”

Am I releasing my future to God by giving of myself and my time and my resources in faith – trusting Him with everything that I have?

  • We Value Relevant Environments

“We believe our role is to create environments that are conducive to the work of the Holy Spirit in the hearts of people. A relevant environment combined with competent leadership will allow us to connect with our audience.”

Am I living out my faith in the real world?

  • We Value Strategic Service

“As gifted members of the body of Christ, each believer is responsible for exercising his or her gifts in tandem with other members of the body. It is not enough to exercise spiritual gifts. Maximum impact is contingent upon a coordinated, strategic exercise of gifts in the body.”

Am I serving through the church at least one hour per month in a place where I am gifted AND a place where I am needed?
